Simple, minimalist design in black and white so you can use any colors they won’t clash / will always look good!.Compact planner – because there is no spiral / coil binding, it’s only 1.5cm thick and weighs hardly anything. Some ghosting but no bleed through except for the MAMBI stamps. The planner doesn’t have tabs but it does put the week numbers and the page title in the bottom right hand corner to make it easier to find the page you’re looking for: The paper is quite see through so you can use the shadow of the lines pages when writing on the blank pages. Space to record income and expenses for each month. When the month ends mid-week the month is added as a reminder.
The 2017 edition only had space to track 3 habits but this year’s has 7 ? Saturday and Sunday also have the same amount of planning space as the weekdays (last year they were combined). I really like the weekly layout – super functional! A big improvement from last year’s layout is a more structured right page. The week starts on a Monday (consistent with the monthly spread) I’ve reviewed a lot of planners and this layout is definitely one of my favorites! The weekly planner is really in sync with how I plan with the days of the week on the left page and list making, top 3, habit tracking and notes space on the right. I think I prefer the 2017 calendar layout better in the list style format – it was one of the features which made the planner unique! The monthly calendars used to be at the start of the planner – now they’re switched to be inter-sperced between the weekly spreads throughout the planner. This planner definitely has the angle of being created for side hustlers working in the margins in mind with Saturday and Sunday having large boxes sizes to plan the week. Mi Goals changed the layout of the monthly calendar from the 2017 edition. When I use the planner I’m thinking about using the 3 goal sections for 3 different blog categories then listing the post ideas in the focus sections below. The planner includes goal setting pages for short term and long term goals – which most planners don’t do! Short term goal planning Starts on Sunday which I found odd since the monthly calendar and weekly spread both start on Monday The planner was made in Australia so has Aussie public holidays.

There’s an example of how to use each type of page – very handy! These pages are built into the planner so you can flick back and refer to them whenever you need to. It’s literally the lightest little book ever and would be perfect for on the go planning if you prefer to use an app on your phone and but sometimes need some paper handy. They also sent me the Get Shit Done Notebook. The 2018 is bigger and wider than the 2017 version. I’m thinking about making a gold monogram sticker to add to the front to jazz it up a bit! I was going to purchase the planner anyway! As always, all opinions are my own.

Adam, the creator of the planner, sent me a copy of free for this review. The layout ticks all the boxes for my planning needs! ?ĭisclaimer. More habit tracking space, the days of the week on one side of the page and a weekly goal section = <3. I really liked the 2017 layout and the 2018 layout is even better.
